Uploading Files via our FTP

Graphics Plus has set up an FTP server for sending large files to us over the Internet. If you would like to use your FTP software, please follow these instructions:

  • Move any files you need to send to GPP into a single folder. Compress the folder using a compression utility such as WinZip or StuffIt. This will compress the files into a single archive which is the best way to send files via FTP.
  • Using your FTP application, log into our FTP server using the provided User ID and Password information.

    Server Name: gpprinting.com
    User Name: gppftpguest
    Password: GPPguest10
  • Once logged into our FTP site, upload the compressed file archive into your home directory.
  • When done, please send us a short e-mail at ARTWORK or to your GPP sales representative to let us know the file has been uploaded.

Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble logging in, please double check your username and password. Also, check if the "Passive Mode" setting is OFF.

If you can log in but you seem to be "stuck" on retrieving a file listing, check to see if you are running a software firewall such as Norton Firewall. Sometimes this can cause a problem and block you from connecting properly. If you are running a software Firewall, try turning it off temporarily and then try to reconnect to our FTP server.

File Formats Accepted for Uploading Files

For sending us multiple design files, please compress them into a SINGLE COMPRESSED Stuff-It (.SITX) or WinZIP (.ZIP) file.

IF POSSIBLE, TRY NOT TO SEND "RAW" FILES - sometimes doing so will cause the file to be unrecognizable once uploaded to our FTP server.

You can upload the following file formats:

.SITX Stuff-It format
.ZIP Compressed WinZIP format
.TIF Photoshop Tiff format
.JPG Photoshop JPG format
.EPS Encapsulated Postscript file from Illustrator, Freehand, etc
.PDF Adobe Acrobat
.DOC Microsoft Word
.PUB Microsoft Publisher
If you do not have compression software, you can download either Stuff-It for Macintosh or WinZIP for Microsoft Windows.
